Game basics and hand values
In Baccarat, we deal two initial cards to the Player hand and two to the Banker hand. Your job is to predict which hand will be closer to 9. Card values work like this: Ace is 1, number cards 2–9 are face value, and 10, Jack, Queen, King are all 0. If a hand totals more than 9, we drop the tens digit—so 15 becomes 5, 18 becomes 8.
A two-card total of 8 or 9 is called a "natural," and the hand wins immediately. If neither hand has a natural, we draw a third card according to fixed rules we display before play begins. You do not decide whether a third card is drawn—the rules do that automatically. This is what makes Baccarat different from other card games: there is no strategy in card play, only choice in where you place your bet.
Betting options and settlement
You can bet on three outcomes: Player wins, Banker wins, or Tie. A Player bet pays 1:1 if the Player hand is closer to 9. A Tie bet pays 8:1 or 9:1 depending on the table variant we are running that session.
Settlement happens instantly. The dealer turns both hands face-up, we calculate totals, and the winning hand is announced. If you bet on that hand, your payout is credited to your account immediately. If your bet loses, the stake is deducted. Tie bets only win if both hands total exactly the same—this is the rarest outcome, which is why the payout is higher.
